Any system that stores energy for a relatively long time and releases it for a short time can be called a pulsed power system. Utilizing a voltage conversion device to transfer the energy from the utility power to a capacitor or inductor for storage, the stored energy is discharged through a pulse to obtain a high power pulse, which is then effectively released to the load.

There are many forms of energy storage in pulsed power technology, including: capacitive energy storage, inductive energy storage, mechanical energy storage, chemical energy storage, etc., of which the more commonly used is capacitive energy storage. TPV Electric has well solved the key technology of pulsed power supply through engineering practice:

● Energy conversion and storage: the pulse capacitor used has low inductance, long life, high specific energy density, allows high current discharge (close to short circuit) and repetitive frequency operation.

● Discharge switch technology: air discharge switch or high-voltage triggered vacuum switch adopted, uniform electric field stabilized discharge voltage exceeding 100kV, can operate in high-current discharge environment, discharge device resistant to high-current ablation, low noise, and long-time trouble-free operation.

● Further steepening of the power pulse: The pulse of the fast frontier has the excellent characteristics of high power and fast input. Depending on the requirements, the program can steepen pulses in the 10-microsecond range to the 10-nanosecond range or even to several nanoseconds.

● Load and measurement technology for power pulses: In order to adapt to the pulse power system, Crown Electric's newly developed capacitor charging power supply adopts a fully digital control circuit, which is common to both DC and capacitor charging, with excellent repeatability, and adopts an all-fiber optic solution to improve the anti-interference capability of the control system.

● Function: Utilizing the Marx generator principle and environmentally friendly gas insulation, it outputs pulse impulse voltage (waveform length 200ns+10%, etc.) with a specimen resistance of 75Ω, or is used for other scientific research tests.

● Dimensions: 1000~1500mm in diameter, 2000~3000mm in height.

● Weight: 1500~2000kg, easy to move.
